Cheddar Cheese Recipes
Please try these tested recipes from Wisconsin 724 Reserve Aged CheddarGrilled Cheese with Aged Cheddar, Apple and Onion

Serving Size: 2 sandwiches
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter, softened and divided
1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 gala apple, thinly sliced
4 slices of cooked bacon (optional)
1 block of Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
(1) 5 ounce bar of 3 Year-724 Wisconsin Aged Cheddar Cheese, cut into slices
4 slices of freshly baked bread [French Peasant Bread]
2 tablespoons butter, softened and divided

1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 gala apple, thinly sliced
4 slices of cooked bacon (optional)
1 block of Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
(1) 5 ounce bar of 3 Year-724 Wisconsin Aged Cheddar Cheese, cut into slices
4 slices of freshly baked bread [French Peasant Bread]
Cooking Directions:
In a small skillet heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes. Add in the brown sugar, mix well, and continue to sauté for 15 minutes or until the onions are caramelized. Remove from heat.
Using the remaining butter, butter one side of each of the four slices of bread. Place two slices in a large skillet over medium heat. Divide the Mozzarella Cheese & Wisconsin Select Aged Cheddar Cheese slices, the apple slices, bacon (optional) and finally the caramelized onions between the two sandwiches. Top with remaining slice of bread.
Heat for 3-5 minutes per side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the pan, slice in half and enjoy!
